This site is plain HTML built to be readable by everyone: semantic
structure for screen readers, labeled form fields, no JavaScript required to read
anything, and a phone number — (208) 656-1467 — as a full
alternative to every online feature. Hit a barrier? Call or text and it gets fixed.
What the site does on purpose
- Semantic HTML throughout — real headings in order, real lists, real tables with header rows, and landmark regions, so assistive technology can navigate the structure rather than guess at it
- Labeled forms — every input on the contact form has a visible label tied to it
- No JavaScript needed — every page reads and the form submits without scripts; there are no popups, overlays, or cookie walls to dismiss
- Readable text — dark text on a light background at a comfortable size, with meaning carried by words rather than by color alone
- Keyboard-friendly — links and controls are standard elements, in a logical order, usable without a mouse
- A phone alternative to everything — anything the site does, a call or text to (208) 656-1467 does too, including reaching the same person
The standard aimed for
The target is the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. This site is small and hand-built, which makes that target genuinely reachable — and also means a mistake is genuinely fixable within days, not quarters.
